Safe Work Practice Description
- Keep fingers clear of Latch point.
- Watch for damaged rubber strap.
Potential Hazards
- Pinched fingers from getting caught in between. The latch sections.
- Struck from rubber strap breaking
Safe Work Practice Description
- Scan ground around hood for obstacles
- Wear safety glasses
- Clear build up from under hood.
- Loosen both sides of hood
- Lift from rear of hood, keeping back strait, lift with legs
- Maintain control until completely open.
Potential Hazards
- Slip, Trip, Fall From unseen obstacles walking around hood
- Debris in eyes
- Muscle strain from bending overusing your back
- Struck by Hood falling back down
